Our founding board

Stefan and Jens had the original idea, started connecting all the dots and now run the HR Angel Club on behalf of its members.

Stefan Menden

HR-Founder from Cologne since 1999 (SQUEAKER, Staufenbiel, PrepLounge...). Worked in VC in London, with Oliver Wyman in Munich, with XING in Hamburg and with Secret Escapes in Berlin, where he now lives. Thrives on working with entrepreneurs and building companies as Menden Ventures. Over 15 Future of Work Tech investments. Loves to cook for his family and friends (whenever they let him).

Jens Bender

Founded and grew PeoplePath and now works with HR-Tech scale-ups and investors as entrepreneurial advisor for Go-To-Market and Product Strategy & Execution. Worked with Oliver Wyman in Munich and Haufe-Umantis in Switzerland. Lives in Freiburg with his family and turned his passion for HR-Tech to his work by founding WorkTech Advisory. Loves to spend time on (frozen) water (sailing, rowing, skiing) with friends & family.
